Remember the purpose of this conference is to help you develop the skills needed for the implementation of PRP after completion of the course. Learning will continue as an ongoing process. Every patient treated will teach you more about the science and, before you realize it you will be a leader in the field.

The conference training course begins with immediate introduction to the PRP treatment. Extensive literature and biomolecular mechanisms are provided in the reference material. Given the limited time and to prioritize skills, we will focus primarily on the practical application and practice and will allow attendees to review the material science on your own. Remember the purpose of this conference is to help you develop the skills needed for the implementation of PRP after completion of the course. Learning will continue as an ongoing process.     Course Objectives


    Upon completion of this workshop, the health care professional will be able to:

    • Identify the Components of PRP such as cytokines, platelets, mesenchymal stem cells, stem cell markers, growth factors.
    • Compare kits and know how to use them and describe PRP preparation procedures as outlined by the FDA
    • Know what Dual spin and single spin is and formulate the appropriate centripetal acceleration and time to achieve the desired concentration of platelets for best results.
    • Discuss the different types of PRP like PRFM and know how to apply them to the medical or cosmetic condition that is being treated.
    • Describe how and why to “Activate” PRP
    • Manipulate the components of the PRP using FDA approved additives that work to improve the PRP stability prior to administering.
    • Determine what patients are good candidates for PRP therapy and the medical applications and their validity.
    • Distinguish any PRP contraindications and what patients can do to prevent complications
    • List the step-by-step procedures to create the PRP serum.
    • Discuss and acquire the skills to perform aesthetic injections, filler injections to the face, and neurotoxin injection
    • Identify the safety and sterilization protocols that must be followed
    • Identify the conditions treated with PRP
    • Perform PRP on the face, neck, hands, and décolleté and be able to choose the proper injection modalities and micro needling for PRP administration.
    • Demonstrate improved PRP and volumetric enhancement with fillers in combination
    • Perform a complete Face lift with PRP and fillers . Assessing the patient, planning the procedure and calculating the amount of PRP and filler needed.
    • Categorize and treat Acne scars, stretch marks, dark circles, and burn scars
    • Design an approach for Alopeciae in both men and women.
    • Evaluate treatment options for male and female sexual dysfunction
    • Perform joint and tendon injection with PRP for Arthritic conditions and tendinopathies knee, shoulder, AC joint, elbow, ankle, and feet.
    • Review protocols for follow-up injections and assessing improvement levels
    • Perform hands-on training by administering the procedure on live patients. You will take part in PRP injections for facial treatments and alopecia. Understanding the various factors that can influence PRP efficacy and how you can ensure positive outcomes
    • Develop effective marketing techniques for PRP

    9:15 to 9:30 a.m.

    Session 2 –PRP, Fillers, BoNTA Applications for Aesthetic and Medical Conditions

    9:30 to 10:45 a.m.

    Now that you know what’s available let us see how to apply it specifically to different scenarios.

    • Safety and OSHA
    • Who is a good candidates for PRP therapy
    • Contraindications  PRP, Fillers , BoNTA
    • Step-by-step procedure on how to create the PRP serum
    • Creating plans and understanding dosages that should be given according to the condition
    • Learning about the safety and sterilization protocols that you must follow

    Session 3 –Volumetric Rejuvenation and Healing with PRP

    11:00 to 12:00 p.m.

    Preparing the PRP, step by step and what to avoid. The physics and basic pearls, essential timing, refrigeration, stability. Where how and how much.

    • Condition specific volumes
    • Learn how to combine PRP with other treatment modalities such as BoNTA and Fillers
    • The volumetric face lift

    Session 4 – Questions

    12:45 to 1:00 p.m.  

    Setting up the Lab 

    1:00 to 2:00 p.m. 

    After lunch, you will learn how to set up your work space, effectively and economically. We will provide contact information for different suppliers for your equipment and pharmaceuticals. You may use your own if you wish but sometimes finding the supplies can be tricky business.

    2:00 to 2:15 p.m.

    Session 5- Alopecia

    2:15 to 2:45 p.m.

    Consents for treatment

    • Understand Alopecia in men and women. Etiology, pharmacologic treatments and hormonal testing. Applying the PRP, LLLT and vitamins. The hair follicle.

    Session 6 – Practical Procedural Training

    3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

    (the schedule will be posted that day based on the volunteers and model attendance)

    The final session of the day, we will demonstrate live patient procedures under the supervision of experienced providers.

    • You’ll receive hands-on training by performing the procedure on a group of live patients
    • Face Lift, Alopecia, Breast enhancement, Joint and tendon applications
    • You can conduct the PRP injections for facial treatments and alopecia
    • You’ll receive in-depth training in how PRP therapy works and how to administer the injection for most effective results.
    • We will demonstrate the various methods and factors that can influence PRP efficacy and how you can ensure positive outcomes
    • We will demonstrate and practice BoNTA and Fillers on live patients and each other…Grab a partner.

    • Importance of the follow-up

    Session 3-  Botox in Medical Conditions

    10:00 to 10:30 a.m.

    • Learn the exam and do it.
    • Bell’s Palsy, Oily skin, Hyperhydrosis, Headaches.

    Session 4-  PRP in Medical Conditions

    10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

    • Know your pathology (GU-GYN Dysfunction , ED, Burn Scars, ACNE)

    Session 5-  The Lips, Chin and the Cheeks

    11:30 to 12:00 noon

    • Facial symmetry, profile enhancement (chin and lips).
    • Analyze, draw it and do it.

    Session 6-  Lab: Botox and Fillers

    12:00 to 12:30 p.m.

    • Eye Brow lift, Marionette Lines, Crows feet, the Neck platysma bands
    • Malar edema (how to avoid it)
    • Facial symmetry, profile enhancement (chin and lips).
    • Analyze, draw it and do it.

    Lunch Break

    12:30 to 2:00 p.m.

    Session 7- Workshop (schedule will be posted), please sign up if you volunteer and complete your treatment consent and HIPAA forms. Space is limited for certain procedures, so please do so early on.

    Day 2 will end by 6 pm, there will be ample time to ask questions and get detailed information on any material discussed.

    Those having to leave early should have covered the essentials needed to adequately begin PRP in your practices.


    Sunday, July 29th, 2018 - back to agenda

    Volunteer participation, we will perform 4 procedures of your choice, I will be assisted by my staff and the group members of your choice, if you volunteer, under my direct supervision. Between 9:00 to 1:00 pm.

    Vincent Nacouzi, MD
    Dr. Nacouzi has worked in Raleigh NC over 20 years. His expertise in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care led him to develop excellent surgical skills. With his research experience in Molecular Biology at UCLA, Dr. Nacouzi was naturally driven to apply Stem Cell science to aesthetic medicine. He became the first accredited Physician in Raleigh NC, to perform PRP injection for the Vampire Face Lift. Dr. Nacouzi is an expert injector who realizes the importance of each procedure and insists on performing every injection himself. He is a member of IAPAM (International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine) and the American Cosmetic Cellular Medicine Association
