Carrie F. Blades, M.D., is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician, practice owner, and advocate for integrative, patient-centered care. She is the founder of Blades Wellness and Aesthetics in Cypress, Texas, where she specializes in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, functional medicine, and aesthetic medicine.
Dr. Blades earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Louisiana–Monroe and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) in Shreveport. She completed her Emergency Medicine residency at LSUHSC in Baton Rouge, where she was selected to serve as Chief Resident.
Following more than a decade on the front lines of emergency medicine across Texas and Louisiana, Dr. Blades channeled her clinical expertise into a new mission — helping patients optimize their health and vitality.
Dr. Blades holds certifications from the American Board of Emergency Medicine, Worldlink Medical in Advanced Bioidentical Hormone Therapy, the Institute of Functional Medicine, and the Metabolic Terrain Institute of Health.
Dr. Blades is passionate about translating complex medical science into practical, actionable strategies that empower both clinicians and patients to take control of their health.
