Jason Giffi, DO, DABOM, NASM-CPT, is a board-certified physician in Emergency Medicine and Obesity Medicine and the Founder and Medical Director of Ultimate Wellness, a physician-led health optimization practice in Frederick, Maryland, specializing in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, medical weight management, metabolic health, and lifestyle optimization.

After more than a decade practicing Emergency Medicine, Dr. Giffi’s professional focus shifted toward preventive and optimization medicine following his own health transformation. At age 35, despite years of medical training, he found himself overweight, fatigued, and increasingly dissatisfied with his health. What began as a personal effort to rebuild his nutrition, fitness and metabolic health ultimately reshaped the way he approaches medicine and led to the creation of Ultimate Wellness.

Today, Dr. Giffi combines his clinical background with advanced training in bioidentical hormone therapy, obesity medicine, nutrition, exercise physiology, and body composition to help men and women improve health, performance, and quality of life. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, and an avid Ironman triathlete.

Dr. Giffi is passionate about helping clinicians bridge the gap between traditional medical training and a more comprehensive, individualized approach to hormone and metabolic optimization.
