Objectives
Upon completion of this workshop, the healthcare professional will be able to:
- Describe how to practice defensive medicine before testosterone is even prescribed.
- Identify pertinent research studies that address how testosterone replacement therapy can reduce Metabolic Syndrome and issues with weight and obesity.
- Recognize that testosterone replacement therapy can also impact the patient’s quality of life in addition to, improved sexual function.
- Identify the literature that supports the benefits of testosterone replacement therapy in reducing CVD and mortality.
